Project Kalay relies on your support to make a difference in lives. Your donations are important. We are a tax-exempt organization under IRS Code 501(c)(3), enabling us to accept tax-deductible donations from U.S. supporters.

Since 2016, we have provided hand-washing and basic nursing care to 1,400 boys at the Naga Kalay orphanage in Yangon, Myanmar, and trained at other large monasteries nearby. In 2017, we aimed to ensure these orphanages had a steady supply of soap, hygiene education, and training at more locations across Myanmar.

In 2020, as the pandemic affected the world, we shifted to providing humanitarian relief and supporting food security for the poor children supported by the monasteries. Due to recent political events, we have temporarily paused our work in Myanmar but plan to launch new programs in other locations in 2025.
